Dr. Thomas Jestädt is Head of the Tolling Division at Toll Collect GmbH, the technology company which is Germany’s main service provider for tolling. He holds a DPhil in Physics from the University of Oxford and studied at Erlangen, Cambridge, and Heidelberg. His career spans senior positions in major IT and telecommunications firms, focusing on IT systems, tolling, and management. He is lecturer at Technical University Berlin, contributes to European standardization (CEN), and is the (co-)author of several books and patents.
